At Brian Myers Productions our passion is to create personalized, cinematic wedding films that you’ll want to watch, share, and treasure for a lifetime. We specialize in wedding “cinematography,” which we believe is important to contrast with wedding “videography.” We recently posted an article about the Value of Wedding Cinematography that we recommend reading as a starting point for understanding the unique qualities cinematography has in comparison to videography, and photography. This understanding is essential to a proper view of our work, and could significantly impact the way you think about your wedding budget.
Our Niche
Which brings me to my second point. Because of all of the differences and the costs associated with them, a wedding cinematographer’s price point tends to be much more than wedding videographer’s, ranging anywhere from $5,000-10,000+. The problem with this is that it makes wedding cinematography untouchable for many brides on a stricter budget. That’s where we come in.
If you take a look at our Wedding Investments, you’ll notice that our packages center around “Wedding Short Films,” which start at $3,495 and run 4-6 minutes in length . Most other wedding cinematographers center their packages around a longer piece (typically about 15 minutes in length), commonly called a “Feature Film.” The major price-affecting difference between the two is NOT the quality with which they are filmed, but the amount of TIME it takes to edit the finished piece! By focusing on these shorter films, we are able to significantly lower the price point without giving up any ground when it comes to visual quality and cinematic style.
